LIQUID GOLD

So I've started being consistent in regard to my hair and it's routine, so this is another aloe oil recipe that I can see has given life and length to my hair.

Olive oil is absolutely AMAZING for the hair. It gives shine and extra length and volume to the hair.

Promote Scalp Health, olive oil is has lots of antioxidants, it helped me with a hair product mess by reversing the effects giving me a nice, shining black afro albeit small.

Conditions your hair making it shiny and soft.

Fight dandruff, head lice and other adverse conditions that contribute to hair loss.

Has keratin in it which is essentially what our hair is made up of so olive oil combats hair loss. It'd just liquid gold, really.

What you'll need is:

• aloe leaf
• olive oil
• vitamin E capsules
• container

What to do:

1. Cut an aloe leaf. Check out my healthy, glowing skin healthy, glowing skin post about how to fillet an aloe leaf.

2. Use the clear gel inbetween the greeny parts and cut it into small pieces. Mash it up too to release more of the aloe gel trapped inside.

3. Pour olive oil in a medium heat.

4. Pop the aloe gel into the olive oil pot and leave it to boil.

5. Once the bubbles have died down and the gel has shrunk and looking a bit translucent, take it off the heat and leave it to cool in room temperature.

6.  Prick the vitamin E capsules into the mixture to increase the shelf life.

7. Store in a bottle and DO NOT put it in direct sunlight.

Use this at night and shampoo the next morning for 4-8 weeks for the best results.

Aloe Oil for strengthening hair.

What I've noticed about myself is that I'm a very inconsistent person when it comes to using homemade products. So I've decided for the next 3-6 months, I'll be using this aloe oil serum and then see what happens.

The reason I've chosen aloe is that, I've got an abundance of the plant at home and I just HAD to use it some how.

Aloe is beneficial for skin and hair:

• anti-ageing agent
• anti-inflammatory
• revives skin cells
• promotes healing on burn wounds -- works in seconds for 1st degree burns.
• promotes hair growth
• strengthens hair
• anti-dandruff
• MAKES ME FEEL SOOOO GOOD !

What you'll need is:

•  Fresh aloe leaf
• Coconut Oil
• Container
• Vitamin E capsules
What you do is:

1. Cut the aloe leaf. Check out my healthy, glowing skin post on how to cut an aloe leaf.

2. Take out the clear gel, between the green parts.

3. Cut the gel in small, tiny pieces and use a fork to mash this up a little to release more of the gel trapped inside.

4. Pour coconut oil in medium heat and pop the aloe inside the pot.

5. Let this boil until the bubbles die down and the aloe starts to shrink.

6. After letting it cool to room temperature, use a strainer to weed out all the little aloe gel pieces.

7. Prick the vitamin E capsules into the mixture to increase the shelf life.

8. Put the mixture in a bottle and use at night, shampoo the next morning.

Use this for 4-8 weeks for the best results. Leave a comment on how it goes.
